Yes. Students not

an advisor or the Office of Admissions prior to enrolling in classes
to determine if the satisfactorily completed course work will transfer
to Gateway and count toward a specific degree program.

Students may take
those courses at NKU where they meet the class prerequisites. Since

prior to enrolling in the class at NKU. This ensures that the Gateway
student will receive the special tuition rate at NKU.
How do
I enroll in the concurrent enrollment program?
The concurrent enrollment
program is jointly administered by Gateway and NKU. The Office of Student
Affairs at Gateway located on the Covington campus will give you the
enrollment from that you will use to sign-up for your NKU course(s).
After Gateway processes the completed concurrent enrollment form, take
the form to the Office of the Registrar at NKU to register for one or
more classes. The office is located in Room 301 Lucas Administrative
Center, Highland Heights, KY. NKU will collect the appropriate tuition
and fees and send you your final grade at the end of the semester.
How do
I enroll in the Concurrent Enrollment Program?
Students desiring
transfer course credit for concurrent enrollment courses taken at NKU
must complete an Application for Concurrent Enrollment form and obtain
the proper signatures from Gateway and NKU. This process guarantees
that credit earned for course work taken at NKU will transfer for equivalent
course credit at Gateway.
Where do
I get the Application for Concurrent Enrollment form?
The form can be
picked up at the Dean of Students' office at Gateway (located on the
Covington campus). The form must be signed by the Dean of Students at
Gateway in order to guarantee the appropriate tuition rate and transferability
of course work from NKU to Gateway.
Do I need
to request a NKU transcript to receive Gateway transfer credit for course
work taken at NKU?
Yes. Requests for
transcripts are handled by the Office of the Registrar located in the
Room 301, Lucas Administrative Center, telephone: (859) 572-5556, fax:
(859) 572-6094.
