Articulation Agreements

Articulation Agreements are contracts between institutions established to designated specific course transfer equivalencies. There are basically two categories of articulation agreements. One type of agreement determines the general transferability of Gateway courses at NKU, and the other, done at the campus level, determines the acceptability of transfer courses in satisfaction of specific degree requirements in various academic programs.

If you follow the specified requirements of the program articulation agreements, you will receive an associate degree from Gateway and be accepted with junior status at NKU in your chosen major. Upon successful completion of the designated major and any remaining general education courses at NKU, a student will earn a baccalaureate degree from NKU.
